Recipes from the British Isles
Step into a tearoom in the British Isles with Roses Along Tyne, where I bring the timeless elegance and comforting simplicity of teatime recipes from England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales right to your kitchen.
Our curated collection of recipes is a culinary journey across the four nations, capturing the essence of each region's most beloved teatime treats. Delight in Highgrove Castle rhubarb cake from England, fresh orange marmalade on toast from Ireland, Edinburgh Christmas scones from Scotland, and rarebit from Wales.
I was inspired by Ina Garten’s, the Barefoot Contessa’s, philosophy of cooking and hosting. She insists that recipes should be easy to make, and the most important part is that you are able to have fun.
To ensure everyone can join the teatime tradition, all of my recipes come complete with measurements in both the metric and U.S. customary systems. No matter where you are in the world, you can effortlessly recreate these classics.
And, of course, every recipe pairs perfectly with a freshly brewed cup of tea.
